LWVLA held a Virtual Webinar Luncheon on January 13, 2021 at 12 noon! The Education Committee presented the first of two webinars focused on “cyber schools,” i.e., charter schools that are completely online. This year the Covid pandemic unexpectedly drove K-12 schools to teaching online. How does online schooling work? Urging Implementation of a Climate Emergency Resolution at an early January Ingham County Board meeting. (Update) The Climate Emergency Resolution was passed by the Ingham County Commissioners on July 28, 2020 after being sponsored by Commissioner Tom Morgan. See updated Resolution here.
