While the League of Women Voters is non-partisan it does, after study, take positions on issues and will advocate for those positions. The state League also studies and advocates for policies which can be found at https://lwvmi.org/positions.html. Local Leagues advocate for those issues at the city and county level.
There are times when national, state or local Leagues believe that it would be helpful for members to contact their representatives in regard to an issue. At those times you will receive an “Action Alert” that will describe the issue and how you might help impact it.
